Lifelong Comox Valley Resident – Rich understands the Comox Valley
Rich Hardy (traditional name Namugwis) grew up on Comox Indian Reserve #1 in the heart of the Comox Valley Regional District. Rich is currently serving as a Band Councillor for the K’ómoks First Nation and is managing the following portfolios including Fisheries, Finance, Infrastructure, Governance Water and Wildlife.
He previously worked as the General Manager of the K’ómoks First Nation’s shellfish aquaculture company Pentlatch Seafoods Ltd (PSL) (2006-2019).

Rich is committed to his family and his community
Rich is happily married to his wife Carol Hardy (celebrating 26-years) and loves spending time with his teenage son Bobby. Rich is a sports enthusiast who loves playing golf, being near the water and mountains of the Comox Valley, the place he has called home all his life.
